Jazz Dance Classes

Introducing more material in the fundamentals of jazz technique. Encouraging a safe space to be creative, work with others and timing. The class structure will include a warm up, isolations, stretching, across the floor work and choreography.

Basic bass technique is studied through simple turns, jumps, leaps progressions and combinations. We will warm up do center work, across the floor develop body alignment, coordination, balance and rhythmic awareness.

Introducing bold dramatic rhythm movements. This will begin with warmups, stretches center and across the floor work. Intermediate leaps and turns and movement to upbeat music.

A more advanced class for a dancer proficient in jazz technique, rhythms phrasing of slow, medium and fast movements. Some improv and partner work.
